Penzance registered luggers and MFVs
We are fortunate that a large collection of historic photographs exist showing some of the luggers and motor fishing vessels registered in Penzance and fishing both locally and around the coast of Britain.
Detective work with the fishing boat registers has allowed Tony Pawlyn to construct brief histories of some of these, giving an insight both into the stories of the boats but also the lives of Cornish fishermen in the later C19 and early C20.
