Rosebery, Earl of, K.G., K.T.

Is the owner of the steam yacht Zaida, and a member of the Royal Yacht Squadron. Lord Rosebery, who is usually afloat for the winter season in the Mediterranean, is a devotee to the cruising branch of the sport, and is not found among the racing yacht owners. The Zaida is a very fine twin screw schooner of 350 tons. She was built in 1900 by J. S. White and Co., Ltd., to Lloyd’s highest class, and is an excellent sea boat. Lord Rosebery has made some extended Mediterranean cruises on board her, and for this particular work she is admirably suited.
