Sharman-Crawford, A. F., J.P.

Was born in Dublin in 1862, and educated at Eastbourne College. He commenced yachting at an early age, his first boat being the Niobe. He subsequently owned Lady Nan (2½-rater), SquallCyane (5-raters), and also Elsie (Cork Harbour one-design class). His present yacht is Slainte, a Clyde 20-tonner, of the one-design class. The first boat in which Mr. Sharman-Crawford raced was Xema, 40 tons. He is Commodore of the Royal Munster Yacht Club.
