Green, W. Miall-.

A keen yachtsman, well known on the East Coast. He became an owner in 1881, purchasing the Wild Duck, 19-ton cutter. In 1893 he designed for himself the 21-ton cutter Yolande, which was built by Messrs. Surridge and Son on the Thames. In 1890 he purchased the 62-ton schooner Rowena. He is also greatly interested in motor-boats, and has owned at various times quite a fleet of these craft, including Hummono, Takumono, and Ful Sked. He owns also the 77-ton cutter Yolande.

Mr. Green, though not now a racing owner, is keenly interested in yacht-racing, and is Rear-Commodore of the British Motor Boat Club. Mrs. Miall-Green is also a clever yachtswoman.
