Greenshields, J. J.
A well-known all-round yachtsman, and owner of the cutter Sybil, and part owner with Captain Schank in the 3-ton sloop Julia. This latter boat was designed by Mr. William Fife, jun., and built at Teignmouth in 1897. The Sybil was designed and built by W. A. Black and Co., and came out under the new Yacht Racing Association rule of 1887.
Mr. Greenshields has taken a leading part in racing round the coast for many years.
