Was born in 1872, and educated at Eton and Trinity College, Cambridge. Sir Charles is a keen sportsman and a practical yachtsman. He owned the steam yacht Whitebait, built in 1893 by Messrs. Simpson, Strickland and Co., and he now owns the s.y. Swallow, II tons.
